As a result of the fire, several bus lines on Thursday were canceled indefinitely. This is what the Zealand transport company Din Offentlige Transport (DOT) informs the TV station.
According to the DOT, nine bus lines were canceled on Thursday. These are lines 12, 141, 143, 144, 149, 151, 152, 164 and 166.
It is still unknown how long the nine bus lines will be out of service. This is stated by a duty officer in the traffic information area at DOT to TV 2 Lorry.
It is a three-storey building with office space and a bus garage in the industrial district Fabriksparken in Albertslund Municipality, which was ravaged by a major fire on Maundy Thursday night.
The building is completely damaged, and in order to extinguish the fire completely, you have to tear down the building.
The building belongs to the transport company Keolis, which among other things has city buses running in Copenhagen, Odense and Aalborg as well as local and regional buses all over the country.
Keolis states that three buses have been burnt out, while the rest have been “trapped” by the fire and its destruction inside the bus station’s parking lot.
