After shooting and killing a 27-year-old man on Friday night in Mørkhøj near Copenhagen, the perpetrators fled in a white Mercedes SUV.
The car was later found burnt out in Hvidegårdsparken in Lyngby, informs Copenhagen West Region Police.

The police state in a press release that judging by the information provided by the investigation so far, the killing was “a deliberate act” – that is, a liquidation.
On Friday evening, shortly after 7 pm, the police received a report of a shot on Gyngemose Parkvej in Mørkhøj. A 27-year-old man in a black Audi had been shot and killed.
The police state that two men in black clothes subsequently drove from the scene in the white Mercedes, and a few hours later a similar car was found on fire on Hvidegårdsvej in Lyngby.
Police are looking for witnesses who can contribute to the investigation. Among people who have observed something suspicious in the area near the crime scene.
– We are also very interested in hearing from witnesses who have seen a large white Mercedes SUV drive in the area around Mørkhøj and Lyngby on Friday evening between 19.15 and 23, says Police Commissioner Ole Nielsen in a press release.
Any witnesses can contact the police by telephone, but also have the opportunity to show up at a so-called mobile police station, which Copenhagen’s Vestegns has set up in the area.
For the time being, the police are reluctant to provide further information for the sake of the further investigation.
