Björk’s concert series, Björk Orkestral, which was to be broadcast live from Reykjavík in the Harpa Concert Hall this summer, has been postponed until 2021.
The party was originally scheduled to take place in August, was then pushed to three dates this fall and now at the beginning of next year on February 17, 24, 31 and 7.
According to a statement on Icelandic airwaves, the concert series was performed “because we can not trust that recent levies will be lifted in time for the shows and we always want to prioritize the health and safety of our guests and staff.”
It is also stated that all purchased tickets for the shows are still valid for the new dates and that no new tickets will be required.
“If the new date is not convenient, buyers have 14 days from today or until September 3, 2020 to demand a full refund. To get a refund, buyers need to contact the ticket office at: [email protected]. “
