Arch-enemies since the Balkan wars in the 1990s, Serbia and Kosovo, will normalize their economic relations.
The agreement will be signed today by Kosovo’s Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The signing takes place in the White House in Washington in the presence of US President Donald Trump, who negotiated the agreement.
However, the agreement does not mean that Serbia recognizes Kosovo as its own sovereign state.
On the other hand, this means that Serbia is the first European country to move its Israeli embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a controversial decision, not least in the Muslim world.
