Leif Walter is the primary school teacher and rock musician from Gävle who recognizes a hit when he hears it. He came across the tiger hunt at a company party in the 70’s and the song has since shown the way to sales records, the big arenas and the children’s hearts.
The song turns out to be a rhyme that before it became a child hit wandered across continents and genres.
This is the story of how the rock band Mora Träsk becomes a children’s music duo that floors Sweden by embarking on a tiger hunt with humor, targeted marketing and great knowledge of pedagogy.
Iconic children’s songs are a series about our most beloved children’s music and the focus is on the stories of the Swedish children’s songs that have become immortal. How have these melodies and lyrics become favorites with generations of children?
A documentary series from 2020 by Anna Charlotta Gunnarson and Agneta Karlsson.
