The police introduce a residence ban in parts of Aalborg

The new stricter corona rules, which apply to the whole country from Saturday, mean that the police will introduce a residence ban in Aalborg’s entertainment district.

This is stated by the North Jutland Police in a press release.

The residence ban covers Jomfru Ane Gade and Jomfru Anes Gård and applies from 22.00 on Saturday evening to 02.00 on Sunday night. It will also apply on Thursday and Friday of next week.

Thus, the police have introduced a residence ban in three places in the country. A residence ban has already been introduced in parts of Nørrebroparken and in Kødbyen in Copenhagen.

You are allowed to air a dog or make walks and runs through areas with a residence ban, but you must – as the name suggests – not stay in them.

A violation is punishable by a fine of 2500 kroner.
