- The construction of the Navy’s new signal reconnaissance vessel is delayed when the Polish shipyard that builds the vessel has financial problems and is under reconstruction.
- Neither FMV, which ordered the ship, nor SAAB, which received the contract, want to comment on whether there will be delays, but at the Polish shipyard they are told that their date for delivery has already passed.
- “This is of course a problem, but the discussions we have, we have with SAAB and they are the ones who have to fulfill the contract,” says Minister of Defense Peter Hultqvist.
