Copenhagen Police are massively present in the cityscape in the evening and at night between Friday and Saturday, where a residence ban applies in several areas.
In this connection, the police have had to close a party, as well as give four more orders to people who violated the residence ban.
This is what Deputy Police Inspector Lars Karlsen says on Saturday night.
– The situation until now is that we have closed a spontaneous party in Fælledparken, where we have also given an order and a charge for the use of soundbox (portable speaker, ed.).
– In addition, we have issued four orders on the skating rink in Fælledparken, which is a zone with a residence ban, says Lars Karlsen.
The residence bans mean that you are not allowed to stay in certain areas, including parts of Fælledparken, Nørrebroparken and Kødbyen, from 18-06 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Copenhagen Police will patrol the cityscape for a few more hours on Saturday night.
– Right now we continue to keep an eye on how things develop, and we continue to be present in the whole circle, says Lars Karlsen.
According to the deputy police inspector, there have been no problems with bars and restaurants’ new closing times at 10 pm.
The same applies to the affected areas with the Copenhagen West Region Police and the North Zealand Police, the chiefs of guards report.
