A 28-year-old Albanian woman, who is the wife of the main suspect in the so-called “Operation Goldfinger”, was on Tuesday sentenced to two years in prison and deportation from Denmark forever.
The Copenhagen City Court has found her guilty of having received and used an amount corresponding to five million kroner, which the court believes stems from criminal activities.
The Copenhagen Police writes this in a press release.
– The court’s judgment in this case clearly shows that you can not live a life of luxury for money that stems from criminal acts, says prosecutor in the case Annika Jensen from Special Investigation East.
On Friday, a verdict was handed down in the first case in relation to “Operation Goldfinger”, where 15 people are accused of smashing nine tonnes of cocaine into Denmark and Sweden.
