A police operation is underway in northeastern Paris, according to local authorities. Four people are said to have been injured and people are urged to avoid the area. According to the deputy mayor, the police are looking for a potentially dangerous person, reports Reuters.
Four people are said to have been injured, two of whom are seriously injured, according to the news agency AP, which states that it was a knife attack near the premises where the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo previously had its office.
Ekot’s Southern Europe correspondent, Marie Nilsson Boij, is on site in Paris and says that one person has been arrested and interrogated.
