- Charlotta Fougberg won the women’s class after competing and breaking the Meraf Bahta – in a Lidingö race without exercisers on the track and no audience on the side.
- In normal cases, 30 kilometers is the heaviest distance in the Lidingö race, but this year most of the elite runners chose to compete in the 15-kilometer class because the competition came too close to the Swedish Championships marathon three weeks ago.
- The women’s race quickly developed into a battle between national team stars Charlotta Fougberg and Meraf Bahta, where the latter quickly took command and snatched a lead before Fougberg caught up and passed and won the new course record 52.10, 74 seconds ahead of Bahta.
