The coming week offers small late-summer trends, before the weather on Friday becomes October-like and more characterized by rain and showers.
This is what Anna Christiansson, meteorologist on duty at DMI, says on Monday morning.
Large parts of Denmark can thus in the last days of September of the year hope for between 15 and 18 degrees โ and in some places maybe up to 20 degrees during the day.
โ Itโs about enjoying it while it lasts, she says.
Monday, however, the week begins a bit wet as a front is about to cross the country.
It moves northwest during the day and can provide rain in several places.
The temperatures will be nice with between 15 and 20 degrees, and the wind will be light to fresh.
During the evening and night it clears up in the eastern part of the country, paving the way for some days of stable weather.
Both Tuesday and Wednesday will be quite similar with between 15 and 18 degrees, alternating cloud cover and a weak to even wind.
โ And then there is not much rain either, says Anna Christiansson.
Thursday, which is the first day of October, it should continue to stay fairly dry until the evening, and temperatures remain mild.
But compared to the days before, it will be somewhat more windy with locally strong winds along the coasts.
Friday comes the change of weather then.
Here the daytime temperatures drop to around 15 degrees, the wind becomes even to strong over most of the country, and then it becomes most cloudy with both rain and showers.
The erratic weather is expected to continue for some time into next week, with forecasts becoming more uncertain.
