Around. 13:30 strong winds caused destruction and terror in the neighborhood where one house had taken off and others lost the odd tile. No injuries were reported.
According to TV2, it has all the signs of a tornado. The twister was probably hidden in the heavy rain that moved over Zealand at the end of last week.
Fenja Lystlund, who was in the area, told Albertslund Posten: “Suddenly everything was swirling around. The flowers were tossed around as if they were matches and taken off our patio. I shouted for the girls to hurry. It was very violent. ”
170 km / h wind speed
In a tornado of this category – EF-0 to EF-1 – wind speeds can reach up to 170 km per hour. In particular, this left a trail of destruction approaching two kilometers in length.
Just last year, Denmark was hit by another tornado: at that time, cars overturned outside the hospital in Aabenraa in southern Jutland.
