Two friends are guilty of killing two men in Ruds Vedby and in Vemmelev last year. A jury in Næstved on Tuesday decided this.
The victims were a 68-year-old man and an 80-year-old man, respectively. They were killed in April and in June.

In both cases, the properties where the men lived alone were set on fire.
In the case from Ruds Vedby, the body was placed in a lake in a gravel pit near Slagelse. The body of the man from Vemmelev was charred during the fire.
Juries and judges agree to plead guilty to the two accused men. One is 35 years old and a former elite swimmer. He lived in Sneslev south of Ringsted. The other is a 43-year-old former MMA fighter from Korsør.
The men have a very close relationship, it has emerged during the case. They got to know each other through a man in the training environment. The younger one calls the other “hugr”. An Old Norse word that he has translated into “soul piece”.
68-year-old Kiehn Georg Andersen was the victim of massive violence, while Poul Frank Jørgensen, 70, was stabbed with sharp objects.
In court, several relatives of the victims are present. There are tears of relief in several of them.
Kiehn Georg Andersen collected coins, and police investigators have determined that coins were sold in Korsør after the crime.
On Tuesday morning, the presiding judge will review the decision on the many criminal matters in the indictment: murder, indecent handling of corpses, arson and robbery.
The two comrades are also guilty of robberies committed in Kulerup near Ringsted and in Vejleby near Skibby.
There is no visible reaction to be traced in the defendants. The elder sits and shakes his chair. He has a distinctive tattoo on his face and ring in his nose. He has severe mental health problems.
The court points to a lot of evidence. For example, the younger man’s DNA was found on condom packages, which were in the driveway at the property in Ruds Vedby.
In addition, the same man’s cars – a white VW Up and a black Landrover – were seen at the relevant times near the two crime scenes.
The mutual chat correspondence and a notebook in the basement of the younger one are also important, it sounds. In notebook was a list of effects that could have been applied to the killings.
Later Tuesday, the jury will determine the sanction.
