FC Copenhagen crashed out of the Europa League qualifier after a sharp 0-1 loss at home to the Croatian Rijeka last night.

The result means that the Lions miss a European group stage only for the second time in 15 years.

Meanwhile, FC Midtjylland were fresh from reaching their first Champions League group game in club history rewarded with a tasty draw.
As the only Danish team left in Europe, FCM Premier League champions face Liverpool, Dutch giants Ajax and Italian startup Atalanta in Group D.
The group game is played between October 9 and December 9.
