In an action against so-called white fines, the police on Tuesday arrested nine people with connections to the gang environment.
This is stated by the Copenhagen Police in a press release.
White messengers are people who bring drugs out to customers who, among other things, order the drug by text message. According to the police, the detainees have sold and distributed cocaine to customers in and around Copenhagen.
The operation was carried out by the special group Special Investigation East, SEØ, in collaboration with other departments in the Copenhagen Police.
In addition to the arrests, nine addresses in three police districts on Zealand were searched.
Tuesday’s action is the culmination of an investigation against a Copenhagen gang group.
– The arrest operation went as planned, and we are satisfied that we have hit a gang that has supplied the Greater Copenhagen market with hard drugs, says operative leader of SEØ Deputy Police Inspector Torben Henriksen in the press release.
The detainees are eight men and a woman aged 17 to 22 years. Six of them will on Wednesday be required to be remanded in custody in a constitutional hearing at the Court in Frederiksberg.
