Very soon we will know which author the Swedish Academy has chosen to give this year’s Nobel Prize in Literature.
The announcement is made by Permanent Secretary Mats Malm at Börshuset in Stockholm.
So far, everything is as usual, but the Nobel party itself is canceled and this year’s announcement also takes place in a corona – adapted suit. Only a small number of journalists and photographers will be present.
This year’s Nobel Laureate in Literature is also not allowed to come to Stockholm to receive his prize.
The gaming company Betsson believes most tippers on the Guadeloupe-born Maryse Condé, followed by Russian Ljudmila Ulitskaya and Japanese Haruki Murakami.
The Nobel Prize in Literature was first awarded in 1901. To date, 15 women have received the prize.
