A further conflict has arisen between groups in the Copenhagen gang scene.
That is why the Copenhagen Police have stepped up their gang efforts in the capital. It informs the police in a press release.
The new conflict is between, on the one hand, a grouping that mainly takes place in Nørrebro and in the North West, and on the other hand two groupings that mainly belong to Tingbjerg and Sjælør, respectively.
Police say that the shooting in a hairdressing salon in Brønshøj last week affects the conflict. In addition, a submachine gun was found this week in Tingbjerg, which the police believe should be used in the ongoing conflict.
The extra effort against the gang environment means, among other things, that the police conduct stricter surveillance of Tingbjerg, Sjælør, Nørrebro and Nordvest.
