The airport company Finavia and the Parliament House announced new instructions for using a face mask.
On Tuesday, passengers and other people visiting the country’s airports must wear face masks at all times, according to the news agency STT.
Finavia previously issued face mask recommendations in May.
The company said it wanted to protect passengers and staff and pay attention to the idea that safe travel is possible.
Finavia said it was concerned that travel restrictions related to the government’s coronavirus had almost stopped air traffic.
Parliament’s committees wear masks
At the same time, the face mask recommendations are also expanding in Parliament, according to the institution’s communications department.
In addition to the recently required use of masks in plenary, legislators must also wear protective equipment in committee meetings.
The mask recommendations also apply to members of the media.
No other instructions have been given on the use of masks in other parts of Parliament. Guided tours of the facility are not held in November and December. The visitor center has been closed since March 12 due to the coronavirus situation.
In addition, the public plenary gallery will be closed until the end of the year.
