New attempt at ceasefire

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan have announced that they will make a new attempt to end the fighting over the breakaway republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The countries have agreed on a ceasefire from midnight on Sunday, reports the news agency AFP.

Last weekend the ceasefire negotiated with the help of Russia was immediately broken. The countries blame each other for that failure.
