- Malmö FF was about to take a new step towards the Swedish Championship gold, but instead it was a giant race in the away match against Djurgården.
- MFF lead 2-0 with ten minutes left of the match, but then the home team managed double corners and it was equalized within a minute and in the final minute of the match, incoming Kalle Holmberg scored his second goal of the evening for Djurgårdsseger 3-2.
- Little consolation for Malmö was that the gold rival Häcken only managed one point in the away meeting with Helsingborg which ended goalless 0-0.
