33 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed domestically yesterday, Indicator reported in the morning. 20 of them were quarantined at the time of diagnosis but 13 were not. This is an improvement from yesterday, when 21 out of 45 were quarantined at the time of diagnosis.
The incidence of house infections (cases per 100,000) continues to decrease day by day and now stands at 248.7 compared to 266.2 yesterday and 292.3 over the weekend.
The number of hospitals has also decreased since yesterday, of which 21 are now in hospital compared to 23 before. The 3 who were in intensive care remain there. There have now been 4,268 confirmed infections in Iceland since the pandemic began and the number of 11 dead is the same.
