“As long as the preliminary investigation is ongoing, the police will not be able to illuminate the contents of the investigation. We ask people who find that information that violates their privacy has been disseminated to send an electronic request to investigate,” said Marko Leponen, the investigating chief investigator at KRP.

He added that the service provider has no information on how many of its tens of thousands of customers are affected by the infringement, and also declined to comment on whether the infringement affects all customers or only customers in a certain area.
The attacker has published his claim online, saying that they will publish the data of 100 people daily until the ransom of 450,000 euros has been paid, wrote Helsingin sanomat newspaper.
