The first meteorological winter has come to Sweden. From Trerikesröset in the north to Åre in the south, the daily average temperature has been zero degrees or lower for at least five days.
At the same time, SMHI has also issued a class 1 warning for snowfall from Sunday afternoon until the night towards Monday in the interior of Norrbotten County. A class 1 warning has also been issued for ice skating in parts of Västernorrland County and Jämtland County, where rain can fall on cold roads.
