- If Sweden wins against Iceland in tonight’s European Championship qualifier, the national team is ready for the European Championship – despite Sweden having one more game played than Iceland.
- In the event of a draw, Sweden has an advantage in the end – if it ends 0-0. In the event of a 1-1 result (the same result as in the team’s first meeting in Iceland), it will be the goal difference that decides. Before the match, Sweden has an advantage there.
- With a more goal-rich cross than 1-1 (2-2, 3-3 etc.) Iceland has the advantage due to more away goals in mutual meetings. In the event of an Icelandic victory, Iceland takes the direct place in the European Championships. This provided that the teams win their remaining matches – and Sweden must then play the playoffs – if you do not become one of the three best group runners-up.
Match start: 18.30 directly in P4 – the table can be found here.
