- Iceland has introduced new, stricter restrictions due to the corona pandemic, which bans all sports until at least 17 November.
- This has led the Icelandic Football Association to decide to cancel leagues and appoint champions already now, despite several rounds remaining in both the ladies’ and men’s senior series.
- Series leader Valur is crowned champion in the men’s highest league, further down the table it is Grótti and Fjölnir who go out and in the women’s series Breiðablik wins while Hafnarfjörður and KR Reykjavik go out.
