Scottish actor Sean Connery has died. He was perhaps best known for playing the polished agent James Bond in seven films.
Sean Connery won an Oscar in 1998, for best supporting role as a corrupt cop in Brian de Palma’s award-winning film, “The Indomitable”, and has also won two Bafta awards and three Golden Globes.
He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000 and his death was announced by his family to the BBC. He turned 90 years old.
