The road between Nordenskov and Tirstrup was blocked on Tuesday evening after a truck lost some destroyed mink.
The South and Southern Jutland Police write this on Twitter.
– The authorities are on site and are in the process of initiating clean-up. Find alternative routes.
Initially, the police wrote that the minks were lost on Hovedvej 12, but write in a new tweet that it is on the “stretch from Nordenskov via Hodde to Tirstrup”.
Ritzau has not succeeded in contacting the South and Southern Jutland Police.
But to BT, the police inform that it may be a defective seizure on the truck, which is to blame for the many mink being lost.
According to BT, the police expect that the clean-up work will be completed towards midnight.
Ekstra Bladet has spoken to a citizen who is simply called Kristian, in the area.
– I just drove by. From Ølgod to Nordenskov, they are scattered all over. There are thousands of them, and it’s just getting worse and worse. It was completely insane. It is grotesque, he tells Ekstra Bladet.
This is not the first time that destroyed mink end up on the asphalt.
Saturday night, a truck lost dead mink on the E45 motorway. The dead mink were scattered on a nearly 50 kilometer long stretch from Haverlsev to Randers.
North Jutland Police subsequently wrote on Twitter that the truck had been located in Randers, and that the driver would be charged for not securing the load properly.
