- After widespread infection and postponed matches, Linköping was back in the SHL. Jonas Junland emerged as match hero when the table jumbo before the evening won against Skellefteå with 2-1 at home.
- Rögle took the fifth straight derby victory against Malmö and won Skånederbyt with 2-0.
- Örebro’s Kristian Näkyvä was hailed in Växjö before the drop. Örebrobacken suffered from cancer in February, was declared healthy in August and is now making a comeback. However, Örebro lost the match with the odd goal.
