The restrictions in the seven North Jutland municipalities were actually supposed to apply until 3 December, but they will be eased ahead of time.
These are the municipalities of Hjørring, Frederikshavn, Brønderslev, Jammerbugt, Thisted, Vesthimmerland and Læsø.
The restrictions were introduced after a mutated variant of the coronavirus called cluster 5 was found in mink. It had spread to 12 people and authorities were concerned about whether it could weaken an upcoming corona vaccine.
From several sides, however, doubts have been created as to whether this is the case.
