How informs the Icelandic Meteorological OfficeYellow alert was introduced in many parts of the country on Wednesday.
Rain, sleet, and strong and gusty winds are expected, which can make traveling very difficult. Therefore, all drivers are encouraged to exercise extreme caution on the roads.
There will be hail and sleet rains in the south-west of the country on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures varying from zero to 7 ยฐ C.
It will snow over the weekend and the temperature will drop below freezing. Rain and sleet or rain are forecast for the next week. Monday may be a bit warmer.
