FCM Champions League misery continues
FC Midtjylland is finished in Europe this season after losing 1-3 at home against Ajax Amsterdam in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The result means that the Danes now have no chance of finishing in third place – a result that would have given them a place in the Europa League knockout phase. With zero points, the Wolves are last dead in Group D, seven points are Atalanta and Ajax, with only two games left.
