People in several parts of the western area, including Tjörn, in large hills and in Vänersborg, have seen a mysterious glow on Saturday night.
- Eric Stempels, a researcher at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University, says that it seems to be a Bolid, ie a kind of meteor, which created the light and rumble that was reported.
“It’s a very bright meteor that passed off the West Coast, we think,” says Eric Stempels.
