- IFK Gothenburg has had a sluggish season in the football Allsvenskan, but after a 4-0 victory away against Östersund, the club has now secured a new contract. The best goal was Sargon Abraham until 2-0 after half an hour of play.
- More uncertain is the situation for Helsingborg and Falkenberg, who played 0-0 in the anxiety meeting at the bottom. It was a nervous match in the snowfall at Olympia where both teams had each shot in the goal setting and Falkenberg two goals that were correctly ruled out for offside.
- The result means that Helsingborg remains in the jumbo place before the final round, Falkenberg steps up past Kalmar in the qualifying place thanks to more goals scored. Kalmar will play their match away against AIK on Monday.
