The proportion of people tested positive for coronavirus has not been higher since 5 November.
1129 new cases of coronary heart disease have been registered in Denmark.
This is stated by the Statens Serum Institut (SSI) on Monday in its daily update.
According to the Serum Institute, 59,994 coronavirus tests have been performed.
In relation to the number of cases of infection found, this gives a positive percentage of 1.88.
This is the highest positive percentage since 5 November, when it was also 1.88 percent of those tested positive.
With the latest tests, more than 7.4 million coronavirus tests have now been performed since the first cases were detected in late February.
The many tests have been performed on more than 3.4 million people.
The difference between the number of samples and the number of persons is related to the fact that some have had more than one test performed.
The number of people admitted with coronavirus has recently been calculated at a total of 259 people. That is three more compared to Sunday’s update, and there are a total of 27 new admissions.
Out of the total of 259 inpatients, 44 are in intensive care. And 28 of them get help from a respirator.
According to the latest update, a further eight deaths have been found among corona infected. Since mid-March, a total of 837 people have died while infected with the virus.
