The Eastern High Court in Nykøbing Falster on Thursday sentenced a 38-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man to five years in prison for a home robbery committed in Øster Ulslev on Lolland in August last year, the Public Prosecutor in Copenhagen informs.
Rosa Lisa Jansen is from Norway, and she has been deported from Denmark on top of the punishment. She must never return.
The man’s name is Jani Sarakezi, and he threatened with an ax on August 2 last year a 42-year-old man to hand out his wallet, mobile and credit card with associated code.
It took place in the man’s home in Øster Ulslev, where Jansen and Sarakezi broke in early in the morning, while the victim of the case lay asleep on the first floor of the house.
The man’s wallet contained 600 kroner, and at first the robbers were not satisfied with the proceeds. They therefore threatened the victim and demanded more.
But the 42-year-old man managed to escape and reached over to a neighbor from where he contacted police.
The penalty of five years’ imprisonment is the normal penalty for what in legal parlance is called an actual home robbery.
An actual home robbery is – as the term reveals – a robbery committed in the victim’s home. However, it is a requirement that the perpetrator and victim do not know each other.
In this way, for example, cases of debt collection in the criminal circles are excluded.
The judgment of the Eastern High Court was a confirmation of the judgment that the Court in Nyøbing Falster handed down in the case in the spring.
