The antique bookstore Eyรพรณr Jรณvinsson sells kilo after kilo in his Flateyri store, Indicator reports. He is also seamlessly dressed.
Jรณvinsson’s store has a mix of literature: from ancient to modern. They also sell souvenirs and small items. Jรณvinsson describes the store, which has operated as a bookstore for 100 years, as a living museum. The apartment next door to the store, which originally belonged to grandparents, is now on display.
Used books are sold by weight, at ISK 1,000 per kilo. Jรณvinsson says he does not own a bookstore for the money, but keeps the family history alive.
