An international survey ranks Iceland as the third most adapted country for immigrants in terms of happiness and quality of life. The survey was conducted by Blacktower Financial Group.
All the Scandinavian countries rank highest, and the survey covers 195 countries. Switzerland tops the list, followed by Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Australia and Finland. Sweden ranks 12th on the list, writes mbl.is.
“Research has shown that most people go abroad to improve their lifestyle, seek adventures, new activities, earn more money and new career opportunities.” – we read in the press release. “Undoubtedly, moving to a new country can bring many difficult, exciting and life-changing experiences.”
Blacktower Financial Group, which conducted the study, offers financial services to expats. It should be noted that the study focuses on professionals and managers, not unskilled or migrant workers.
The study looked at factors such as the global happiness ranking, average monthly salary, cost of living, property price to income ratio, quality of healthcare, and the level of world peace.
