In the case of a murder committed in Mørkhøj in August, the police on Friday morning arrested another suspect.
A 20-year-old man is accused of setting fire to the car in which the perpetrators fled. The Copenhagen West Region Police informs this.
On Friday afternoon, he was produced in a constitutional hearing at the Court in Glostrup. Here, the judge found the suspicion against him so well-founded that he was remanded in custody for four weeks.
The crime happened early in the evening of 21 August on Gyngemose Parkvej in Mørkhøj.
A 27-year-old man sitting in an Audi was killed by multiple shots. Previously, the police have said that it is similar to a deliberate act, and thus there should be a liquidation.
The victim was Darko Petrovic.
Two dark-clad men were seen driving away from the scene in a white Mercedes SUV, and it was later found burnt out on Hvidegårdsvej in Lyngby. It turned out to be a car that had previously been stolen from a dealer in Central Jutland.
In cases of planned killings in the criminal circles, it is common for the perpetrators to either burn the getaway car themselves or get others to do so.
In early October, investigators arrested a 19-year-old man who was charged with setting fire to the car along with two others.
And on Friday morning, another young man is charged with wanting to delete traces of the murder.
