- When Nerike’s fire brigade inspected companies that store and handle explosives, deficiencies were discovered at two out of three companies visited.
- The inspection reports show that the companies have not had sufficient control of the explosives. For example, explosives may be registered as explosive even though they remain.
- The inspectors also noted that there may be situations where explosives are handled so that unauthorized persons have access to the products.
- To make it more difficult for civilian explosives to end up with criminals, the rescue service now wants to carry out more inspections together with the police.
