This is stated in the Economic Report, which looks at the Danish economy in the future. It will be published on Friday.
The government and the Economic Wise Men predicted otherwise major decline due to corona. But it has gone against expectations. Also, the number of trades has skyrocketed.
Overall, homeowners will have the prospect of an increase of 175,000 kroner from 2019 to 2022, according to a calculation from Arbejdernes Landsbank.
With an increase of 3.3 percent this year, an average house of 140 square meters will be worth 66,000 kroner more.
If the government’s forecast holds, the price of the house will increase by a further DKK 60,000 in 2021 and DKK 49,000 in 2022.
Overall, the corona situation will hurt the Danish economy less than previously feared.
Although a slightly smaller blow to the Danish economy is now expected this year, the decline will still be the largest since the financial crisis in 2009.
On the other hand, 2021 is expected to offer economic growth, which is, however, lower than previously expected.
The forecast has been prepared prior to the latest development in the corona situation in the autumn and is therefore subject to further uncertainty.
