The ship has room for 13,100 containers.
According to the media, it was on its way from Colombo in Sri Lanka to Felixstowe in the UK.
“Maersk Elba” is heavily loaded and has a draft of 15.6 meters, writes Maritime Denmark.
The ship sails under the Danish flag and was built in 2011.
