- CSN has paid out SEK 395 million in student loans to the upper secondary school students from, primarily Afghanistan, who have received temporary residence permits through the Upper Secondary School Act.
- When many of the more than 5,800 borrowers risk deportation, it can be difficult for CSN to collect the debts.
- “There are no opportunities for them to get a job (in Afghanistan), they are not welcome there,” says volunteer Monica Sturegren at Världen in Värmland.
