Robin “flusha” Ronnquist is no longer an active member of fnatic’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster, the Swedish organization announced on Friday.
Coach Andreas “Samuelsson” Samuelsson said that the move was made with the future in mind and a way to give flusha the best chance to keep up with another team. flusha has had three separate stints with fnatic.
“Robin is an incredibly talented player and I am sure he will find a place in a top team very quickly,” Samuelsson said in a statement. “Flusha who falls to our inactive list opens a place on our active list that we will use to rejuvenate our team for the 2021 season.”
flusha, 27, confirmed her intention to move on via social media.
“step down from fnatic, if any organization is looking for an interesting project, do not hesitate to contact me”, wrote flusha on Twitter.
A report from DBLTAP noted that Jack “Jackinho” Strom Mattsson is expected to take a flush.
The same report noted that flusha could be in line to unite with Timothy “automatic” Ta and Miikka “suNny” Kemppi under a new organization. Autimatic and flusha were teammates on Cloud9.
The active list of fnatic includes Swedish compatriots Jesper “JW” Wecksell, Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson, Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin, Maikil “Golden” Selim and Samuelsson (coach).
