Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke (S) says on Friday that Denmark has succeeded in getting control of the infection curves for coronavirus.
At the same time, he reminds Danes that it is important to continue to comply with the restrictions. He refers, among other things, to the distance requirement, which on Friday will be extended from one meter to two meters.
– The measures work, and we can see that we have curbed the infection curves.
– That is why it is absolutely crucial that we all hold on now. Very important: No one should interpret that the infection is going down as a signal that we must let go and soften up on our compliance with restrictions and recommendations.
– We must and must go further down in infection rates and number of inpatients, writes Magnus Heunicke on Facebook.
On Friday, the last nursing home residents in Denmark will be offered the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
– We can see that we have a record high participation rate, thanks to the elderly and the employees for leading the way and showing us all the way out of the pandemic, writes Magnus Heunicke.
