A young man was stabbed with a knife on Engvej in Nørresundby early Sunday morning.
He is reported Sunday afternoon in critical but stable condition.
Another young man was also stabbed, but he has not been in danger.
This is stated by Police Commissioner Kenneth Rodam, North Jutland Police.
Three men aged 23 to 29 were subsequently arrested in a car near the crime scene.
They are expected to be produced later Sunday evening in constitutional interrogation charged with aggravated violence, the police commissioner informs.
A bloody knife was found in the car, which is linked to the stabbing.
According to Kenneth Rodam, the victims and the alleged perpetrators knew each other peripherally.
The course of events was, according to the police commissioner, that they had agreed to meet at a party.
When the three men arrived, the party was about to close, and according to the police commissioner, it triggered an argument, which developed into stabbing.
An officer who was involved in the investigation of the case was also subjected to violence by a 37-year-old man who had nothing to do with the stabbing.
This is stated by the North Jutland Police in a press release.
It happened when the officer on Sunday at 7 o’clock in Aalborg guarded a car in relation to the stabbing.
The officer was punched in the face with a fist, after which the 37-year-old was arrested.
This was done using a police stick, and the arrest was videotaped by those present and posted on the internet, North Jutland Police inform.
According to the police, this is a mentally ill man who was beaten during the arrest, but otherwise was not injured.
The man was seen in the emergency room and is now admitted to a psychiatric ward.
The Independent Police Complaints Authority has been informed of the case, the North Jutland Police inform.
