GODSENT announced the sale and transfer of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive list on Friday, saying only the players were assigned to “another major international” sports organization.
The announcement was published on GODSENT’s website.
“This team has been our (organizational) bread and butter in 2020 and with love we thank them for their incredible service”, wrote the Swedish team. “We wish them the very best on their continuous epic journey towards the peak of 2021 and we are confident that they will share many more wonderful moments in their new home.”
Most recently, the team finished in third and fourth place in the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe tournament in December.
This is the second time GODSENT dissolves the team. The organization did so in June 2018 after Red Reserve bought the list and GODSENT resumed operations at the end of 2019 following a merger with The Final Tribe. In November 2019, GODSENT signed the previous list of SMASH Esports.
The international players transferred to the unidentified organization are Pavle “maden” Boskovic from Montenegro, Asger “Farlig” Jensen from Denmark, Jesse “zehN” Linjala from Finland, Martin “STYKO” Styk from Slovakia and coach Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg from Sweden .
