The prosecution at the South East Jutland Police has accused a former employee at the Bifrost residence in Vejle. According to the prosecution, the employee is responsible for a 20-year-old woman dying in a bathtub at the residence.
The prosecution states in a press release on Monday that an indictment has been filed for negligent manslaughter and that the indictment has been sent to the court in Kolding.
20-year-old Sofie Frydensbjerg Nielsen died in the bathtub, where she had sat for up to 25 minutes. Vejle Amts Folkeblad has previously stated this after the newspaper gained access to the case.
The autopsy report stated that the cause of death could not be determined. But possibly it was overheating because Sofie Frydensbjerg Nielsen had stayed too long in too hot water.
According to the South East Jutland Police, it has not yet been decided when the case will be heard in court.
