New Delhi [India]January 20 (ANI / PRNewswire): India Smart Grid Forum, a PPP initiative of the Government of India, organizes the seventh edition of their annual flagship event – India Smart Utility Week (ISUW 2021) from 02 – 05 March 2021, which is an international conference and exhibition on smart energy and smart mobility for smarter cities on the digital platform (ISUW 2021 will bring together India’s leading power, gas and water tools, policy makers, regulators, investors and the world’s leading smart energy experts and researchers to discuss trends, share best practices and showcase the next generation of technologies and products in smart energy, smart mobility and smart cities.
ISUW 2021 will include plenary sessions, interactive workshops, key notes, technical sessions and technical paper presentations. Bi-lateral Smart Grid workshops with the EU, USA, Switzerland, Sweden and France will be held at the next edition.
The ISUW 2021 conference will have sessions on various topics such as Innovation in Utilities during the pandemic. Regulatory support in various countries for tool revitalization; Cyber security for digital tools; Energy storage systems – business models and rules; Resistant disasters (and pandemics); Smart Meter rollout in India; Smart City gas distribution including green hydrogen; Disruptive Technologies and Innovations for Utilities; Grid Integrated Vehicles (GIV) and GIV standards.
Special plenary sessions discuss topics such as Electricity (Right of Consumer) Rules Act 2020 – Measures Utilities Should Do; and new revenue opportunities for tools. Round table discussions will be held on topics such as Electric Cooking; Interconnection of regional networks in Asia; Blockchain applications in the energy sector; and Urban Air Mobility Systems (UAM).
Exclusive Workshop on Live Line Maintenance in Utilities will also be organized during the event. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced analysis, blockchain, augmented reality, drones and robotic process automation for various tool applications will be discussed as part of the Disruptive Technologies and Innovation for Utilities Session.
The 5th edition of the ISGF Innovation Awards will be organized as part of ISUW 2021. The ISGF Innovation Awards was established in 2017 with the aim of recognizing and celebrating organizations (tools and technology companies), projects, products and personalities that have set new benchmarks in electricity, gas and water sectors. To date, ISGF has selected and recognized more than 150 such organizations / individuals through these awards. The 5th edition of the ISGF Innovation Awards 2021 will be awarded to the winners on March 5, 2021.
India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) invites public and private tools, local local bodies, technology companies, start-ups, researchers and academia to submit their nominations to ISGF has been organizing India Smart Utility Week (ISUW) since 2015 and is considered one of the five best international events at Smart Grids and Smart Cities.
