In Friday’s court hearing, Mik Slaikjær Magdal himself admitted the crime. It tells prosecutor Skipper Falsled.
– It took place in a car, and the 50 kilos he then helped to transport, the prosecutor says.
The 29-year-old is now considering whether he will appeal the sentence in order to get a milder sentence in the high court. He has a deadline of two more weeks.
The amphetamine was transported by car between Slagelse and Køge, which are approximately 55 kilometers apart, on 9 May last year. In October, the 29-year-old was arrested and two others are also charged with the shipping of the 50 kilos of drugs.
However, their cases will only come to court later, as they, unlike Mik Slaikjær Magdal, have not confessed.
– Two others are also charged with it. The 29-year-old chose to confess, and the others are running as judges’ cases, says Skipper Falsled.
He says, however, that the police have not found the 50 kilos of amphetamine that were driven between the two cities. It is the prosecutor’s view that it should be resold.
– It goes without saying with such quantities that then they must be transferred, says Skipper Falsled.
The transport is part of a larger case involving a total of 125 kilos of amphetamine. Several have already been convicted in the case.
Among others, a 31-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison after confessing his role in the case. In his home, police found 62 kilos of amphetamine on May 12 last year.
Police are still investigating the case and do not rule out that more may be arrested.
